IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE AT DIEVOLE?
Yes, there is plenty of parking available for all those staying on site
WHAT TIME DO WE NEED TO ARRIVE BY FOR A CEREMONY START TIME OF 3PM?
We encourage all guests to meet from 14:15pm at the bar. Please arrive no later than 14:30pm at the ceremony area
WHAT’S THE CLOSEST AIRPORT TO FLY INTO?
We recommend flying into either Pisa or Florence. We are flying in/out of Pisa - It’s easy to avoid the busy road/city.
We are planning on extending our trip, where do you recommend?
BRIDE: If you don’t mind the drive, Cortona is definitely worth visiting. There are gorgeous views from the top, with a ‘banging’ restaurant in town: La Bucaccia - we pay a visit every time we head to Tuscany.
GROOM: For a beautiful hilltop town, with great views to watch the sun set, then head to Montalcino -If you’re looking for a place with a lively atmosphere and plenty of options for eating and drinking, then Siena has a lot to offer
WE’VE SEEN THAT YOUR DRESS CODE IS FORMAL BLACK TIE, WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
We’d love to keep our wedding formal, so the dress codes can be translated as:
Menswear -
Tuxedo / Dinner Jacket Suit
Womenswear -
Long dress (ideally floor length), Chic & Sleek
WE NEED TO GET A TAXI BACK TO OUR VILLA, WHAT TIME CAN WE EXPECT THE WEDDING DAY TO FINISH?
The wedding day will finish at approximately 00:30am.
DOES YOUR VENUE ACCEPT CASH?
Our venue accepts cash transactions, but please note the only cards accepted are VISA or Mastercard (sadly no Amex)
AM I ALLOWED TO BRING A PLUS ONE?
Unfortunately, we are extremely restricted with numbers, and therefore, we are unable to accommodate plus ones throughout our wedding weekend.
Huge apologies for any inconvenience.
WHAT’S THE ITINERARY LOOKING LIKE FOR WHILST WE ARE IN ITALY?
We are so excited to have you all in Tuscany with us. We’d love to host you for a welcome dinner on the 12th September (starting at 19:00pm), followed with our wedding day on the 13th September (starting at 15:00pm). Further information will be provided in due course.
WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE IN ITALY, FOR SEPTEMBER?
Whilst the weather is one element we cannot control, we are hoping for it to be dry. Temperatures you can expect to see vary from 16 degrees - 25 degrees.
WILL THERE BE MEAL OPTIONS SUITABLE IF WE HAVE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS AND/OR ALLERGIES?
Of course - Please let us know your dietaries and we’ll accommodate.
IF WE WANTED TO GIFT YOU BOTH A PRESENT, WHAT CAN WE GET YOU?
What matters most to us is having your support and presence on our special day. However, if you'd like to give us a gift, a contribution towards our honeymoon would mean the world to us.
CAN WE TAKE PHOTOS THROUGHOUT THE WEEKEND?
Of course - more the merrier. But we please ask that no images of the bride and groom are posted to social media until the bride and groom have shared a sneak peak themselves. We’d also appreciate it if cameras / phones are kept away, throughout the ceremony.
